Annie studied massage therapy at John Tyler Community college during her second and third years as a certified personal trainer. She has found passion in massage therapy for six years, recently completing her fourth year as the founder of ROOTS.

Tim Smith, LMT
"NO-NONSENSE" MASSAGE THERAPIST & ARTIST
Tim is a 2017 graduate of the Lotus Professional College and holds years of experience in spa, clinical, and private practice settings. Clients describe Tim’s style of work as “no nonsense” with strong and thoughtful pressure. He focuses with deep attention on the individual’s self-described trouble areas and seeks to fully understand and fully remedy the root cause.
Outside the treatment room, he enjoys making art, listening to music or comedy, and cultivating meaningful connection.
Tim’s services at Roots include therapeutic massage, ranging in duration from 60 minutes to 120 minutes.

Andrew Christenson, LMT
FOLLOWER OF CHRIST, HUSBAND, FATHER
Sessions with Andrew have been described as strong, dynamic work — a shepherding of the body’s tension into integrity and strength. He meets clients where they are while offering insight as to the roots and patterns—physical and nonphysical—that could be contributing to a particular session’s need.
Andrew is a licensed massage therapist for men. Clients are active participants in the sessions both physically and conversationally, and are encouraged to allow themselves ample time to integrate the work after a session.
Andrew began practicing deep tissue therapeutic bodywork upon graduating from the American Institute of Massage in 2013 (now Lotus Professional College), and afterward developed a transformational style of bodywork and coaching that helped clients live “coherently” across all realms of their life.
After a radical personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ in 2019, Andrew left his entire life behind and committed himself to better understanding Reality from the perspective of its Author and Finisher. Since then, Andrew has been re-established on the foundation of Christ as a bodywork practitioner and business coach.
